The Best Yoga Studios in Summerlin

The 3 best yoga studios in Summerlin
One of the questions we hear most often from our Sweat Store customers, especially those new to the area or to yoga, is about the best yoga studios in various parts of Las Vegas. So, this week we thought we’d take a look at yoga studios, specifically in Summerlin. We’ll investigate studios in other parts of the valley in future posts.
So, how did we come up with “the best?’ We asked our customers, of course. By the way, these are in no particular order of preference.
  1. TruFusion Summerlin
The newest kid in town, TruFusion Summerlin, opened in October of last year and built an immediate fan base. What our customers like most about it:
  • The pre-check-in app that you can download
  • That they can practice as early as 6 a.m. and as late as 10 p.m.
  • The number of free classes
  • Yoga on the lawn
  • Keyless lockers – each user creates a unique code for access
  • The teachers
Although TruFusion Summerlin offers both heated and non-heated yoga classes, they also cater to the kettlebell crowd and offer classes in pilates, boxing, cycle, barre and more.
Many of our customers were introduced to the studio via their amazing $30-for-30-Days introductory offer. Check out their other membership options online at trufusion.com.
TruFusion is located on the second floor at 1870 Festival Plaza Dr. Reach them by phone at 702-906-2777.

  1. LifePower Yoga
Yes, it’s a program run by LifeTime fitness and serious practitioners may poo-poo it, but it made our list for its overwhelming greatness with beginner yogis. They don’t offer a whole lot of classes, but their Yoga Basics class got rave reviews from our tribe. It’s low intensity and all you need to bring with you is your yoga mat.
The LifePower studio is located at 10721 W Charleston Blvd. in Summerlin. Reach them by phone at 702-228-2611 and visit them online here.

  1. Tru Yoga
If you’re all about the practice and don’t require masses of other practitioners in the same room, humongous locker/shower facilities and other assorted amenities, give Tru Yoga a try. Especially if you’re new to yoga – the studio is far less intimidating than the larger ones in town.
We like the classes offered on their events page – an eclectic assortment of everything from “Yoga for Travelers” and “Yin Yoga and Accupressure” to a class that takes you on a yogic journey through the Bhagavad Gita.
Get a feel for Tru Yoga with a drop-in class for $17 or check out the rates for other terms on Tru Yoga’s website.
The studio is located at 7310 Smoke Ranch Rd. and you can reach them by phone at 702-331-1600.
Now, you’ll need something new to wear, right? Check out what’s on sale right now at The Sweat Store and look good while you do all that sweating.
