Desserts You Won’t Feel Guilty Eating

Whether its a midnight snack, or a craving during the day, we all have a sweet tooth that we give into. To be the most efficient with your healthy diet, try to stay away from gluten and sugar as much as possible. Everyone loves some sweetness from time to time but you don’t always have to feel guilty about it! Here, we’ve compiled a few healthy recipes for you that will keep you on track with your healthy routine. It’s important to satisfy your sugar cravings so that you don’t end up binging. Don’t be ashamed to dip into some healthy sweets from time to time, as long as you stay within reasonable portions!
• Very Berry Smoothie
3/4 cup Greek yogurt
1-2 handfuls of frozen raspberries
1/4 cup almond milk
1 tablespoon of honey
1 teaspoon of chia seeds
Instructions: Simply blend all ingredients together in a blender and serve.
• Cinnamon Yogurt with Fruits
1 container of vanilla Greek Yogurt or low fat vanilla yogurt.
2-4 teaspoons of cinnamon (depending on your preference)
1 tbsp of chia seeds,
Purple or green grapes cut in half
Instructions: Simply cut up your fruits and mix all the ingredients together and voila! A dessert that can be made in 2 minutes! Super delicious and nutritious!
Fun Fact: Chia Seeds deliver a powerful punch of nutrition as they are filled with fiber, proteins, omega-3 fat (the good kind), calcium and many more. Due to the high fiber and protein content, chia seeds can help you lose weight. How? Because chia seeds absorb water and expand in the stomach to make you feel fuller.
• No Bake Brownie
1.5 cups of walnuts
1 cup of almonds
2 cups of pitted dates
1 cup cocoa powder
0.5 tablespoon of coconut oil
1 teaspoon of salt
Instructions: In a powerful blender, add walnuts and almonds first and blend until they are fine. Then, add pitted dates, cocoa powder, coconut water, and salt and blend again until they are mixed. Once you are done blending, place them on a baking tray to flatten your mix and shape it into your desired brownie shape. Lastly, place it in the fridge to chill.
• Frozen Banana “Ice Cream”
2-3 frozen bananas (sliced)
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 tablespoon of almond milk
Pinch of cinnamon (to taste)
Instructions: Mix all ingredients in a blender until you get your desired consistency.

• Strawberry and Banana Pancakes
1/3 cup low fat Greek yogurt
1/3 cup whole wheat flour
Cinnamon to taste
Instructions: Blend all ingredients together until consistency is smooth. Then heat up a pan and make yourself some healthy pancakes. Enjoy.
